Who we are
About Mission Dei
A men's ministry serving those who serve, bringing the hope of the Gospel to first responders and veterans.
Our Mission
Mission Dei is a men's ministry that exists to bring the transforming power of the Gospel to the men who run toward danger every day. First responders, military personnel, and public safety professionals face unique pressures — trauma, moral injury, addiction, grief, and the weight of a broken world — that few outside their ranks truly understand.
We provide biblical guidance, faith-based courses, discipleship, retreats, and online resources specifically designed for men in the public safety and military/veteran community. Our approach is rooted in Scripture and shaped by the lived experience of those who have worn the badge, the uniform, and the gear.
Wherever the Lord opens a door, we want to meet the men who answer the call to protect and serve with the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
Our Heart
Mission Dei is not trying to become big. We have no quota for the number of men we reach and no goal for how much money we raise. If the Lord lets us help one man this year, or a hundred, we count that as faithfulness. We serve a triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and our only priority is to be faithful to Him.
We want to suffer with those who suffer, bear one another's burdens, and weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15; Galatians 6:2). We want to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), grow in the likeness of Christ, and make disciples, men who teach other men (2 Timothy 2:2).
We are not selling a program, and we are not building a ministry brand. We trust the Lord to provide and to make our path straight, because He feeds the birds of the air and cares for His own (Proverbs 3:5-6; Matthew 6:26).
Our mission rests on the command of Christ to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) and on the call to always be ready to give the reason for the hope that is in us, with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).
What We Stand For
Courage in Truth
We speak the truth of Scripture without apology, trusting that God's Word is sufficient for every wound the first responder carries.
Compassionate Care
We meet men where they are — in their grief, their addiction, their PTSD — with the same compassion Christ showed to the broken.
Brotherhood & Community
We believe healing happens in community. We build bonds among the men who serve, grounded in the brotherhood of Christ.
Faithful Where We Are
We start where we are, with the men the Lord puts in front of us. We go where He opens the door.
What We Believe
We hold to the Five Solas of the Reformation, not as tradition for tradition's sake, but because Scripture demands it. These are not opinions. They are the load-bearing walls of the Gospel.
One Triune God
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."— Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
Scripture Alone
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God — the final authority for all matters of faith and life. No tradition, experience, or feeling stands above it.
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."— 2 Timothy 3:16
Grace Alone
Salvation is entirely the work of God. Man contributes nothing to his redemption. It is God who calls, regenerates, and preserves His people — from first to last, by grace.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God."— Ephesians 2:8
Faith Alone
Justification before God is received through faith alone — not by works, merit, or moral effort. The righteousness of Christ is credited to the believer, and that is the only ground on which any man stands before a holy God.
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."— Romans 5:1
Christ Alone
Jesus Christ — fully God, fully man — is the only Mediator between God and man. His life, death, and resurrection are the sole basis of our forgiveness, reconciliation, and hope.
"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."— 1 Timothy 2:5
To God Alone Be the Glory
All of life — every call answered, every life saved, every burden carried — is to be lived for the glory of God alone. The first responder who knows this truth serves with a purpose no shift briefing can give him.
"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."— 1 Corinthians 10:31
We never tell a man to stop a medication. That decision belongs to him and his doctor.
Q. What is the chief end of man?
